01 / Form
Rectangular Concrete Dining Tables
The default form for the studio, suited to long rooms, formal seating arrangements, and built-in dining nooks. Available across all models in lengths from 1800 to 3600 mm and three width options between 1000 and 1200 mm. Cast full-depth in a single pour and finished by hand.

Round Concrete Dining Tables
Round concrete dining tables read softer in a room and seat more people in a smaller footprint. We cast round tops in IronCross and Athina models, in diameters from 1000 to 1800 mm. Round is per-piece priced rather than per-square-metre; the cast is more involved.
03 / Use
Outdoor Concrete Dining Tables
Every concrete dining table we cast is built to one outdoor standard: UV-stable pigments, freeze-thaw-stable composition, and a satin food-safe sealer that resists red wine for six hours. The same composition handles a Hobart winter, full Australian sun, and salt-air coastal sites. Specify the base (galvanised steel or Tasmanian oak) at quote.
Concrete is a natural fit for outdoor dining and entertainment. Every piece we cast is built to outdoor standard: UV-stable pigments, freeze-thaw-stable composition, satin food-safe sealer. Suited to back yards, courtyards, patios, alfresco rooms, and pool-side terraces. We recommend a covered position for finish longevity however the top will weather naturally over time if fully exposed. For the consolidated view across dining, coffee, side, and bench, see our concrete outdoor tables page.
04 / Finish
Polished Concrete Dining Tables
Polish level is selected at quote: satin (medium sheen) is our default and brings out the cast flow lines, the pigment depth, and the cloud of cure that comes from a hand-poured slab. Honed (matt) reads cooler and hides daily handprints. Both finishes carry the same satin food-safe sealer; the pigment depth is set by the cure, not the polish.
A satin finish brings out the cast surface: the natural flow lines, the pigment, the patina. Our craftspeople's finishing method delivers a satin (medium sheen) finish.

Concrete Dining Table Sets
A SnapCo concrete dining set pairs the table with matched concrete bench seats, side tables, or a console, all cast in one batch from the same pigment lot. Same composition, same cure date, same finish hand. Pair an IronStone table with an IronStone bench, or a TimberStone table with TimberStone benches on Tasmanian oak.
Our craftspeople manufacture concrete bench seats, concrete side tables, and concrete consoles in the same composition as the dining table. We generally manufacture sets in the same batch to deliver a consistent look as environmental factors such as temperature humidity have an outcome on the final look. Pair an IronStone rectangular dining table with an IronStone bench seat, or any of our timber range with the TimberStone bench seats for a matching aesthetic. The same matched sets are regularly specified for hospitality and commercial seating fit-outs (restaurants, members' clubs, and creative-agency dining rooms) where a single material story across kitchen, bench, and table holds the room together.
Material / The composition
Silica-free; Real Architectural Concrete; full-depth; quietly engineered.
Every concrete dining table that leaves the studio is cast from a composition we developed ourselves: silica-free, full-depth, roughly four times the compressive strength of standard concrete. There is no veneer, no laminate, no clever overlay.
The concrete sealer is commercial grade and food-safe. Hairline crazing is part of cast concrete's character; structural cracking is not, and is covered under your Australian Consumer Law guarantees against manufacturing fault.
Common Questions
Concrete dining tables: the things people ask.
-
How heavy is a concrete dining table? +
A two-metre IronStone rectangular table weighs around 180–220 kg depending on width. The Milano range, with timber bases, comes in slightly lighter at 160–200 kg. Every piece is delivered with two-person handling and we site-place at delivery.
-
Can concrete dining tables be used outdoors? +
Yes. Our outdoor-rated ranges are formulated for exposure: UV-stable pigments, sealed against staining, and freeze-thaw stable. Indoor ranges can also be used outdoors but we recommend a covered position for finish longevity.
-
Do concrete tables stain or crack? +
No. Our composition is silica-free, full-depth cast, and roughly four times the strength of standard concrete. The concrete sealer is commercial grade and food-safe. Hairline crazing is part of cast concrete's character; structural cracking is not, and is covered under your Australian Consumer Law guarantees against manufacturing fault.
-
How long does a piece take to make? +
Four to six weeks from quote acceptance, depending on the range and any custom dimensions. We do not rush the cure; full strength comes from a deliberate schedule.
-
Can I customise the size, shape, or finish? +
Yes. Every piece is made to order. Standard ranges sit between 1800 and 3600 mm in length and 1000 to 1200 mm in width; round tables run 1000 to 1800 mm in diameter. Custom dimensions are quoted by the studio.
-
Do you deliver Australia-wide? +
Yes. Melbourne metro is included in the studio quote; regional Victoria and interstate are quoted per piece. Delivery typically runs two to four weeks after the studio schedule completes.
