Terms of Service

These terms govern orders placed through snapconcrete.com.au and the use of this website. Nothing below excludes, restricts, or modifies the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights apply in addition to everything on this page.

Who We Are

SnapCo Architectural Concrete is the trading name of SNAP CONCRETE PTY LTD (ABN 55 650 779 150), operating from a studio at 22 Beach Ave, Mordialloc VIC 3195. Orders and enquiries placed through this website are with us. Contact sales@snapconcrete.com.au for anything that isn't covered below.

Placing an Order: Two Order Paths

Most pieces in our range (dining tables, bar tables, bench seats, side tables, kitchen islands, benchtops, BBQ benchtops, and commercial seating) are quoted by the studio. You send a brief or drawings via the contact page; we respond within two business days with a quote covering the piece, the finish, and delivery to your postcode. The quote is the offer; you accept it by signing and paying the deposit. The contract forms at deposit receipt.

Coffee tables are sold direct through the website with full payment at order. When you complete the Stripe checkout, you're making an offer to buy the piece at the listed price plus shipping. The order is accepted on the order confirmation email.

Every piece is made to order. The lead time runs from the date the deposit is received (Path 1, quoted work) or the date the order is placed (Path 2, coffee tables). Cancellation is possible before the cast begins, typically within the first week. After the pour starts, the made-to-order composition has been batched to your specification; the deposit is non-refundable but is creditable against another piece if circumstances change.

Pricing and Payment

All prices on this website are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST. Quoted prices are valid for thirty days from the date of the quote. Coffee table prices on the website are the current price; pricing changes apply prospectively, never retrospectively to confirmed orders.

For quoted work (Path 1): 50% deposit before production, 50% before delivery. Direct bank transfer or Stripe Payment Link generated after the quote. The balance is invoiced when the cure phase completes; delivery is scheduled on receipt of the balance.

For coffee tables (Path 2): full payment at order via Stripe Checkout. We don't store your card number on our servers; Stripe's own terms and security practices apply to the payment.

Delivery and Risk

Full delivery details are on the shipping page. Risk in the goods passes to you when the carrier delivers the parcel or piece. For damage in transit, see the returns policy for the process and timeframe.

Consumer Guarantees and Limitation of Liability

Goods sold to consumers come with non-excludable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). The full statement and how we handle each remedy is on the returns policy.

To the extent the law permits, our liability for any other matter relating to the pieces or this website is limited to, at our option, resupplying the piece or refunding the price paid. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss (for example, loss of profit or third-party claims), except where the Australian Consumer Law prevents that exclusion.

Warranty

We don't offer a separate manufacturer warranty. Your protection comes from the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law; the returns policy sets out how those guarantees work in practice. Damage from impact, misuse, or unauthorised modification is not covered.

Intellectual Property

The content on this website (the photography, the copy, the SnapCo and Snap Concrete names and logos, the product illustrations, and the site design) is owned by us or licensed to us. Personal, non-commercial browsing is fine. Republishing the content on another site, using our product photography in a listing you don't control, or using the SnapCo or Snap Concrete name on merchandise or marketing isn't.

Privacy, Cookies, and Analytics

Personal information collected through this site is handled under the privacy policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Essential cookies are required for cart and checkout to function; analytics cookies are opt-out.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If a dispute arises, email the studio first; we resolve the majority of issues directly without needing to escalate. If a dispute can't be resolved that way, the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any consumer rights that permit proceedings in another state.

Changes to These Terms

We update these terms when the business, the law, or the website changes. The 'Last updated' date below is the source of truth for the current version. Orders placed before a change are governed by the terms in effect at the time of order.
