Pigment  /  Ivory & bone

Warmer than gallery-white. Softer than industrial.

White is a pigment decision that changes how a room reads. Our white sits in the ivory range; ivory flecks across the surface, lifting it off pure white into something more material.

Studio-batched, which means a white we cast next month will match the white you ordered last month. Pair with timber, oak, and linen for a coastal-Melbourne palette; pair with brass and walnut for something warmer.

Across the rest of the catalogue

White is one pigment family. The full catalogue is cast across dining, coffee, side, and outdoor pieces in any of the studio palette colours.

Common Questions

White concrete: what people ask.

  • Is the white pigment actually white, or off-white? +

It reads as warm white: closer to ivory or bone than gallery-white. Ivory flecks through the surface; it's not a uniform sheet of white. Most clients describe it as 'Santorini' or 'Palm Springs' rather than 'minimalist gallery'.

  • Will white concrete stain? +

Less than you'd think. The same satin food-safe sealer we use across the range resists red wine for six hours. White shows scratches and edge knocks slightly more readily than darker pigments. If you cook to the table, expect light patina with use; if that's a feature, it's a feature.

  • Can white concrete go outdoors? +

Yes. White pigment is UV-stable; the outdoor-rated composition is freeze-thaw-stable; the seal is built for exposure. White concrete reads especially well outdoors: bouncing light, brightening a paved courtyard, complementing planting.

  • What ranges do white concrete furniture come in? +

White pigment is available across the full range: IronStone, IronCross, TimberStone, TimberCross, Farmhouse, Milano, Palermo, Athina, Santino, and Laconian. The Milano range tends to read brightest; the Tasmanian Oak ranges (TimberStone, TimberCross, Farmhouse, Laconian) pair the white top with natural timber legs.

  • Will the white change colour over time? +

Slowly. The seal carries a UV-stabiliser, but white concrete in full sun for ten years will warm slightly toward bone. Indoor pieces hold their colour indefinitely. Most clients welcome the warming; if you want gallery-white permanence, white concrete probably isn't the right material.
