Concrete Outdoor Tables

Every concrete outdoor table we cast is built to one studio standard. One range, one composition, one studio. The concrete outdoor table on this page is the same piece you'd see in a dining room: we over-engineer for the harder brief first.

We over-specify our concrete outdoor furniture for Australia's harshest outdoor conditions. The exact same specification ships for our indoor tables.

Concrete outdoor tables, cast full-depth in our Mordialloc studio, sealed for full Australian conditions, made to your dimensions. The outdoor concrete table is the brief we over-engineer to as our baseline. Sun-cycle, rain, salt-air coastal positions, summer storms on the eastern seaboard: we build for that, and we apply the same standard to every piece we make. So when you click through to a dining table, a coffee table, or a bench seat from this page, you're seeing the same range we'd recommend for indoor use. One catalogue, one studio standard. UV-stable pigment, satin food-safe sealer that resists red wine for six hours.

01  /  Dining

Concrete Outdoor Dining Tables

Concrete outdoor dining tables run rectangular (1800 to 3600 mm), round (1000 to 1800 mm diameter), and oval. IronStone and IronCross sit on a galvanised steel powdercoated base built for full Australian sun and salt-air; Palermo oval suits pool-edge settings. Same composition, sealer, and pigment palette as the indoor range. Custom dimensions priced per quote.

Outdoor dining is where a concrete table earns its keep. We make to order so can custom size a rectangular dining table for long entertaining, round for tighter footprints and oval for terraces and pool-edge settings. The IronStone and IronCross concrete dining tables are our outdoor default, hand-made by our blacksmith in Daylesford with a galvanised steel powdercoated base built for full Australian weather. The Palermo oval is the go-to for rooftop terraces and pool-edge settings. The Timber range of dining tables pairs the same outdoor-rated top with a Tasmanian oak base (oak needs annual oiling, more often near the coast).

A concrete outdoor dining table needs to read calm in the morning, lift a long Sunday lunch, then sit through an Australian winter without complaint. Ours do.

More importantly, an outdoor concrete dining table has to last beyond a few seasons. Most retail concrete tables don't: two seasons of full Australian exposure and they look tired, with the cheaper ones even starting to grow moss along the edges where moisture pools. Ours are built to outlast that.

Standard outdoor dining tables run 1800 to 3600 mm in length, with width options between 1000 and 1200 mm. Round diameters: 1000 to 1800 mm. Oval and custom dimensions priced per quote.

Pick a concrete outdoor table. Same studio standard, indoor or out.

The rectangular concrete outdoor dining table seats more guests than a round of the same length — useful on a terrace with a defined edge, or along the long axis of a pool deck. The IronStone or IronCross rectangular runs up to 3600 mm long, and we've pushed it to 4,000 mm for special projects. Galvanised steel base for full exposure, or a Tasmanian oak base for undercover settings. Made to order to your dimensions.

02  /  Coffee

Outdoor Coffee Tables

Coffee tables get used hard outside. Feet on the edge, drinks on the surface, sun on the top through summer afternoons. Our outdoor coffee tables use the same composition and sealer as the dining range. The Milano coffee table sits on round concrete-leg pedestals, sealed to the same standard as the dining range.

Outdoor concrete coffee tables are the one piece in our catalogue you can buy direct through the website. Flat-rate Melbourne metropolitan shipping; regional and interstate quoted at order.

03  /  Side

Outdoor Side Tables

Outdoor concrete side tables run 400 to 600 mm width, scaled for beside-lounger, drinks-perch, or planter-edge use. Cast from the same full-depth silica-free composition as the dining range with the satin food-safe sealer that resists red wine for six hours. The Laconian sits on Tasmanian oak legs; pigments match the dining lot for visual continuity.

Side tables sit at the edge of outdoor use: between a pair of loungers, beside an outdoor sofa, against a planted wall. Same satin food-safe sealer and full-depth cast composition as the larger pieces, scaled to a 400 to 600 mm width.

We cast the Laconian outdoor side table in matched pigment to the dining and coffee pieces, useful when a setting needs visual continuity. Or as a single piece on its own.

Oak needs annual oiling, more often near the coast.

04  /  Bar

Concrete Outdoor Bar Tables

Concrete outdoor bar tables for stand-up entertaining, pool-side bar runs, and outdoor kitchen counter heights. Same composition and sealer as the dining range, lifted to bar height. Two ranges in the catalogue: the Santino bar on four commercial-grade caster wheels, and the IronStone bar on our galvanised steel base.

An outdoor concrete bar table works alongside the dining range or as a standalone piece against a pool-side wall, built-in BBQ counter run, or covered outdoor kitchen.

05  /  Setting

Concrete Outdoor Settings

A concrete outdoor setting is the table plus matched bench, cast together. Same batch, same cure date, same pigment lot. The visual continuity matters: outdoor concrete settles into its finish over the first year, and pieces from one batch settle the same way. Pieces from different batches read close, but not identical.

Settings work best with the IronStone dining table paired with the IronStone bench seat across rectangular formats. Bench widths run 400 to 500 mm standard, custom widths on request.

06  /  BBQ & Outdoor Kitchens

BBQ Benchtops & Outdoor Kitchens

Outdoor kitchen surfaces follow the same studio standard as the dining table: same composition, same sealer, same studio. BBQ benchtops are cast to your stonemason's templates with the grill cut-out cast in. Sinks sit in stainless adjacent to the slab, not cast into the concrete. We coordinate with your builder on install.

If you're commissioning an outdoor kitchen, the surface follows the same studio standard as the dining table: same composition, same sealer, same studio. We cast BBQ benchtops to your stonemason's templates with integrated grill cut-outs cast at the studio, deliver to site, and coordinate with your builder on install. Full alfresco kitchen surrounds, pool-side bars, and BBQ stations all on the same brief.

07  /  Garden

Concrete Garden Furniture

Concrete garden furniture covers the pieces that sit closer to plant beds and pathway gravel than to a built terrace: long benches against garden walls, lower coffee tables at lawn edges, side tables tucked into planted nooks. Same composition, same sealer, same studio.

The garden context changes the brief slightly. Bases sit on softer ground (lawn, gravel, mulch) so we sometimes cast a wider footing or shift to a different leg style. Send the brief, the photo, and the position; we'll talk through what works.

08  /  Hybrid

Concrete-Topped Outdoor Tables

It's very common for us to cast the concrete top only. Often the client already has a table base they want to keep using — bring the base into the studio (or send the dimensions and a photo) and we'll size the top to fit it directly. The top arrives ready to place on the base as is.

If you'd prefer us to build the base as well, we're happy to do that too. Send the brief and we'll quote the full piece.

Material  /  One range

One composition, indoor or outdoor.

There's no separate "outdoor recipe" at SnapCo. Every concrete outdoor table comes from the same composition we use indoors. We over-engineer to outdoor brief as our baseline, and apply the same standard to every piece. Silica-free, full-depth cast, glass-fibre reinforced. No steel rebar, so no rust, no spalling. Roughly four times the flexural strength of standard precast.

The sealer is the same satin food-safe sealer across the range: indoor or outdoor, it resists red wine for six hours. The pigment palette is UV-stable across every colour we cast. The colour you sign off in the studio is the colour you'll see five years from now.

Every piece cures the full 28 days in our Mordialloc studio. The cure schedule doesn't change for outdoor pieces.

09  /  Specifying

Specifying outdoor concrete

Two things to settle at quote when specifying a concrete outdoor table.

Colour

Pick from the full studio palette: Bone White and Light Grey through the warm spectrum of Oyster, Clay, Raw Umber, Sage, Terracotta and Desert Red. The full set is on our concrete colours page with swatch samples. Every colour is UV-stable; nothing in the palette fades.

Base

Galvanised steel with powdercoat finish is the most weather-resilient option for fully-exposed positions, and our default recommendation. Tasmanian oak is a popular alternative for clients who want a warmer base and don't mind annual oiling. We'll talk through the right pairing for your position.

Install for outdoor furniture is direct: we deliver and position the piece, level it on its footings, and walk you through seal-care basics before we leave.

Common Questions

Concrete outdoor tables: common questions.

  • Is it cement or concrete? +

Concrete. The two words get used loosely in everyday speech, but they mean different things. Cement is one ingredient in concrete: the binder that holds the aggregate together. Our pieces are architectural concrete, specifically GFRC (glass-fibre-reinforced concrete), a refined version of standard concrete that uses a silica-free composition and glass-fibre instead of steel rebar. Stronger at thinner sections, no rust, no spalling. If a search brought you here for 'cement outdoor table', that's what you'll get from us: concrete, properly specified for outdoor use.

  • How heavy is a concrete outdoor table? +

Weight scales with dimensions. A standard outdoor dining table at 2400 x 1100 mm with our 80 mm top runs about 190 kg. A larger 3000 x 1200 mm table sits closer to 260 kg. We provide exact weights on the quote. For Melbourne metropolitan deliveries, we site-place every piece, so you don't carry anything.

  • Can it stay outside year-round? +

Yes. The composition is freeze-thaw stable, the pigment is UV-stable, and the sealer handles Australian sun and rain through full seasons. Covered positions extend the surface finish slightly longer, but full exposure is fine. The piece will weather naturally over time if left fully exposed, which most clients describe as character rather than wear.

  • What's the lead time? +

Four to six weeks from order or deposit, regardless of indoor or outdoor brief. The cure schedule is 28 days; we don't shortcut it. Finishing takes a week. The rest is mould preparation, pigment batching, and sample-tile sign-off where applicable.

  • Do you deliver across Australia? +

Yes. Melbourne metropolitan goes by our own truck with site-place at delivery. Regional and interstate (Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, regional centres) ships by specialist heavy-furniture freight, quoted per order. Send the postcode with your brief and we'll quote freight on the same response.
